IGNITE DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 2025
IGNITE DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 2025
BLESSINGS IN THE OVERFLOW
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim… Everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.” — Amos 9:13 (MSG) “For the vision is yet for an appointed time… Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)
November is yet another month of transition. A traditional time for harvest, and for believers, this is a sacred season. The weather turns cooler, and Fall is in full swing. This is a time of remembrance--remembering God’s faithfulness. In the words of Pastor Jay, this is a season to reflect on what God HAS DONE, what He IS DOING, and what HE’s GOING TO DO. Yes, we can anticipate His promises. Amos, chapter 9 reminds us that restoration is coming—and it’s coming fast. Habakkuk assures us that even if the vision seems delayed, it will arrive in God’s perfect timing.
Amos 9:13–15 tells us that God’s people endured loss and devastation, but He declared a shift: blessings would pour out quickly, they’d be overwhelmed with blessings. This is a word for those who’ve waited, prayed, and persevered. Cities would be rebuilt. Vineyards would flourish. Gardens will yield fresh food. And most importantly, God will plant His people in their own land, never to be uprooted again.
In our communities, God promises generational healing, economic renewal, and spiritual revival. Families can come together to remember and celebrate the bonds of family. Parents and loved ones can share with children how the same God who brought our ancestors through trials and tribulations, is still fulfilling His promises to us....and through us.
During the season when the country focuses on “Thankfulness,” we are still in the shift. God is moving. Fast. Overflow is on its way. No matter our stage in life, blessings are chasing us. Let us thank God for HIS promise of restoration. In this season of harvest, God, help us to have faith to receive, courage to rebuild, and joy to celebrate in spite of circumstances. Amen, and Amen.
Lesson Recap
Children’s Ministry Lesson Highlights
In October, during Children’s Church, we discussed how “God Gives Us What We Need”. In Exodus 15:22-16:36, we learned that God provides water and manna. This passage in Exodus helps us understand that God uses many means to care for the needs of His children.
October’s memory verse was Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs”.
The children were asked to reflect on the ways God has provided for them.
In October, during Teen Church, we continued to discuss how to trust God in transition, specifically in the lives of Saul and David.
In 1 Samuel 24:8-13, we discussed how David had to flee from Saul because of repeated attempts on his life; he did not harm Saul when encouraged by others and given the opportunity.
Specifically, the teens discussed David’s integrity in his dealings with Saul amidst the transition.
The teens were asked to discuss how they can trust God during the transitions of their lives, like David.

The Main Campus partnered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc., for a neighborhood clean-up at the Beechwood Gardens Apartment Community.
This year’s Children’s Church Revival was a great success!
