CLD College Prep Conference and College Fair

Calling all teens! You're invited to attend the 18th Annual College Prep Conference and College Fair on Saturday, August 30th from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, at the Indiana Convention Center. This event is open to rising 9th through 12th grade students and parents. 

Thanks to our partnership with the Center for Leadership Development, all ESC students AND parents will receive 75% discount on the registration fee by using the code CPCESC on their registration!

Please note that attendance at this event or any previous CLD College Prep Conference is required to be eligible for the ESC Scholarship. Prepare for your future by registering today!

  • Cooper Rd. campus from 12 PM to 2 PM

  • Main campus from 2 PM to 4 PM.

The Youth Ministries of Light of the World, Eastern Star, New Beginnings, New Direction & Mount Pleasant have united once again to present the classiest youth red carpet event of 2024 - The MET Gala, Church Swag - The 2024 Christmas Youth Formal.

Join us on Sunday, December 22 from 7pm-11pm at Light of the World Christian Church 4646 N. Michigan Road. Tickets are $10 (at the door) for youth ages 12-18.

There will be a banquet dinner, door prizes, DJ, dancing, and the much-anticipated Red Carpet Entrance at 7:20pm! Five Churches with ONE vision that our youth are a chosen generation!

Scholarship Prep Day: Fall 2023

Scholarship Prep Day allows students to learn about basic principles regarding college admission, financial aid, and resources for educational success, hear from former ESC Scholarship recipients about their college experiences, and get detailed information about how to complete the scholarship application. After this workshop, students will receive a certificate that should be included in the application packet.

To qualify to receive the 2024 ESC scholarship, your student must complete one of the following college readiness workshops:  1) Center for Leadership Development's College Prep Conference & College Fair (CPC) held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, or 2) ESC Scholarship Prep Day.  Scholarship Prep Days are held twice a year.  One in May and one in November.
