“Come let us rest a while” Mark 6:31

How are you doing with observing Sabbath? ESC theme for this year is rest. “Come let us rest a while”- Mark 6:31.

We have provided a Sabbath guide that can be downloaded from our website. The guideline has provided you with helpful scriptures, principles, and suggestions on practicing Sabbath.

We offered Sabbath series classes that explained the importance of rest, how to incorporate rest in all of your relationships, and the last class on October 17 will a panel of Doctors and Ministers to examine the benefits of rest for your body, mind, and spirit.

Now we are offering Sabbath toolkits to help you to make Sabbath a part of your lifestyle beyond this year. Included in the kit is a journal, magnet, and come let us rest awhile bracelet things and more to help you remember to observe Sabbath.  

To register for a Sabbath toolkit go to the ESC website to the Sabbatical tab and scroll down to the registration form. Please indicate what day and campus you will pick up your kit. Toolkits will be available for pick up at each campus for the first two weeks in October.

Use the toolkit along with the Sabbath guidelines to help you change your lifestyle to observe a day of rest, Sabbath.

Pastor Johnson told us to observe Sabbath is not a suggestion but a command,

“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.” Exodus 20:8
