Experience the Easter story like never before with the IGNITE Ministry's Easter Play, 'The True Resurrection Story.' Our children and teens are excited to perform at the ROCK Community Center for Youth and Children on Saturday, March 23rd, 12 pm - 2 pm. Rock City Mondays is an after-school program initiated by Eastern Star Church, designed to provide teens with a holistic empowerment experience. The program offered teens homework assistance, discussions on key issues ("Teen Talk"), and exposure to various professional development and vocational training opportunities, including podcasting, video production, and cooking.

Calling all young talents! We're preparing for our Easter play that will occur on Saturday, March 23rd, at the ROCK Community Center. Join us for auditions on :

January 16th at 6:30 PM at the ROCK Community Center

January 17th at 6:30 PM at the Fishers Campus in Youth Room 118

January 18th at 6:30 PM at the Cooper Road Campus in the Youth Wing

January 22nd at 7 pm at the ROCK Community Center

January 24th at 6:30 pm at the Fishers Campus in Youth Room 118

January 25th, at 6:30 pm at the Cooper Road Campus in the Youth Wing

Scholarship Prep Day: Fall 2023

Scholarship Prep Day allows students to learn about basic principles regarding college admission, financial aid, and resources for educational success, hear from former ESC Scholarship recipients about their college experiences, and get detailed information about how to complete the scholarship application. After this workshop, students will receive a certificate that should be included in the application packet.

To qualify to receive the 2024 ESC scholarship, your student must complete one of the following college readiness workshops:  1) Center for Leadership Development's College Prep Conference & College Fair (CPC) held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, or 2) ESC Scholarship Prep Day.  Scholarship Prep Days are held twice a year.  One in May and one in November. 

If your student was not able to participate in CPC, please register your child for the upcoming Scholarship Prep Day scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at ROCK Community Center for Youth & Children 5817 E. 32nd St.
