This ministry strives to develop spiritually mature women actively influencing their families, church and community for Christ. Meetings are the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Call 317.591.5390 ext. 217.
For 2018, the Women of the Word Ministry meetings will discuss, “We Saved You a Seat” by Lisa-Jo Baker, finding and keeping lasting friendships. *The series will explore our relationship with Jesus as the ultimate model for authentic friendship. Friendship can be hard, making new friends even harder, and maintaining genuine friendship the hardest of all. But nothing shapes us like the impact of a friend—it’s how Jesus radically and intimately connects with us. So instead of chasing perfection, overcome your fear of being known and find the courage to connect.* Session topics include:
Friendship Takes Showing Up
Friendship Takes Vulnerability
Friendship Takes Encouragement
Friendship Takes Service
Friendship Takes Forgiveness
Friendship Takes Walking Away Wisely
Friendship Takes Action
