CELEBRATION OF PRAISE - Sunday, July
20th -- NEW VENUE!! Get ready for a jubilant time of
worship, prayer, sacred dance, fellowship and praise at the 7th
Annual Celebration of Praise Service, Sunday, July 20th @ 9:00AM
at Conseco Fieldhouse! Celebration of Praise is our annual
service held in conjunction with the Indiana Black Expo Summer
Celebration, where the Eastern Star Church Family, church plants
New Beginnings Fellowship Church, New Horizons Church, along with
thousands of Indianapolis natives, IBE visitors, and friends come
together to lift The Savior up! Although the venue has
changed, the praise will stay the same! Featuring a 250+voice
choir, praise band, sacred dancers, and a dynamic message preached
by our Senior Pastor, Jeffrey A. Johnson, Sr. This year’s
musical guest is national gospel recording artist, Kathy Taylor
Brown! Early arrivers will once again receive a special
gift courtesy of Indiana Black Expo! Arrive before 10:00AM &
receive a pass for FREE admission to the IBE Summer Celebration
Exhibits at the Indiana Convention Center! (Note: Must arrive
before 10 a.m. to receive!) Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Casual
Attire! We'll see you there!
AM1310 THE LIGHT PRAISE IN THE PARK...ON THE CANAL, Sponsored

The Light have teamed up again to present Praise in the
Park...On the Canal! Yes, Praise in the Parking Lot has
a new venue! Join us Friday, July 18th from 5:00a.m. to
10:00 a.m. on the Canal in front of Buggs Temple (11th & West
Streets)! There will be merchandise vendors, resource
booths and lots of “mmm-mmm good” food for purchase,
courtesy of Buggs Catering, with all of your favorites such catfish
and grits, biscuits and gravy and more! PLUS The Yolanda
Adams Morning Show will be broadcasting LIVE and there
will be non-stop praise with LIVE performances from Myron
Butler, Damita Haddon, Bishop Leonard Scott, Destiny Praise, the
JC Squad, Niyoke, Eastern Star Church Music Ministry, Krash Krew,
headliner Byron Cage and many more! Cost: ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! You
don’t want to miss it! Bring your lawn chair, a few bucks,
and get ready to send up the praise at Praise in the Park on the
Canal!
Calling ALL Health Professionals: Eastern Star
Church invites you to participate in a new event on Saturday,
August 9, 2008, "Eastern Star Church Health & Wellness
Connection - Healthy Mind, Body & Soul" from 11:00am
- 4:00pm, at our Main Campus. This event will include
FREE health screenings and information booths. The event is totally
free to the public and we need your assistance as health professionals

in observance of the Independence Day Holiday Weekend, Communion
and Baptism will not be held on Sunday, July 6th. Additionally,
please note that Wednesday in the Word & Worship will
not be held on July 2nd.
