MINISTRY APPRECIATION CELEBRATION
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH @ 6:30PM!
The 2010 Ministry Appreciation Celebration will
be held on Friday, September 24th from 6:30 p.m.to 8:00
p.m. in the Gymnasium/Banquet Room, Main Campus! Enjoy
food, fellowship, entertainment, fun and a few surprises! Also,
be sure to dust off your 70’s gear because it’s a
70’s-themed celebration! Although 70’s attire
is not required, it sure is strongly encouraged! If you
are currently involved with any ministry, or have served at any
time during the last year, this celebration is being held in YOUR
HONOR!

CIRCLE CITY CLASSIC PARADE TICKETS
ON SALE NOW!!!
Tickets are now on sale for the Circle City Classic
Parade, Saturday, October 2nd at 10:00a.m. - Downdown
Indianapolis! Tickets are $10.00 (Cash only) and may
be purchased on Sundays after the 8:30a.m. and 12:00p.m. services
and on Wednesdays after the 12:00 noon and 7:00p.m. services in
the family life center (Main campus) members may also purchase
tickets on Mon. thru Fri. from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. by coming
to the Church office.
MINISTRY NEWS
Attention Young Adults (age 19 and up):
Put on your dancing shoes and join the Young
Adult Ministry on Friday, September 17th at 7pm in the Banquet
Room on 30th Street Campus for fellowship and fun as
we learn how to "Step in the Name of Love"! We will
be learning a six count partner dance, similar to Chicago style
stepping, that is easy to learn and fun to practice. For

Women of the Word & Men of Purpose
Special Session On Saturday, September 11, 8:30am-11am at the
30th Street Campus, the Women of the Word and Men of
Purpose Ministries will be hosting a session on "Adults
Caring of Aging Parents." If you are caring
for an older loved one and want practical information to assist
you, please attend. For more information, contact the Women

Joybelles’ open enrollment continues!
Children of Eastern Star Church members ages 5-12 are welcome
to join the choir, which meets on Thursdays at 6:15pm
-7pm at the Main Campus. We look forward to seeing you
this Thursday, September 9th for our next rehearsal.
Reflections of God's Glory Youth Dance Ministry (ROGG)
Open House: ROGG is a ministry open to youth ages 7-18
that instructs youth in the area of dance and ministers to the
hearts of the congregation. An Open House and Registration
for new praise dancers will be held on Thursday, September 16th
at 7:00pm at the Main Campus. Current dancers, along
with new dancers ages 7-18 and their parents are invited to attend.
Sign-up today at the 12:00p.m. service.
Eastern Star Church has openings for two (2) part-time
Facilities Technician positions at our Northwest Location.
Interested applicants must have a High School or GED; or a minimum
of one (1) year maintenance and security experience. A complete
job description is available in the church office. Please
apply by the Thursday, September 30th closing date.
Membership Update! Have you had a change of name, address,
phone or e-mail address within the past 6 months? If
you have not yet updated the church, please complete a Change
