Who will be working with my child?
Our Christian staff of teachers provides a total of over 100 years
experience in childcare/education. The educational background
of the staff varies. Most of our staff is serving because they
believe they are called to work with children. Some of our teachers
are certified CDA's (Child Development Associates) while others
have college degrees that relate to children. We also have teachers
with experience owning and operating their own day cares.
What curriculum do you use? Our
philosophy is to help children reach their learning potential.
We have therefore utilized an eclectic approach. An eclectic approach
is one where
various different curriculums are used. We use a portion of the
A'Beka Curriculum (a Christian based curriculum) and supplement
it with other enrichment activities.
What are your hours of operation? We
are open from 6:30 am until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. We
are closed or close early for some major holidays. We do have
a school break during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break.

Do you have a waiting list? Currently,
we have been blessed with a lot of interest in our ministry.
We would like to accept every child into our ministry, but space,
legalities, and staffing prohibit us. Therefore, we must use
a waiting list system. We are able to place children in our
ministry from the waiting list only as space allows. Children
are moved through some of our classrooms based on development
starting in infancy. Therefore, providing an exact date for
an opening is impossible. Because we are sensitive to your planning
needs, we attempt to provide approximate dates when space availability
is foreseen. We appreciate your patience if you are on the waiting
list.
How can I participate in my child's
education? Children are a blessing from God. We believe that
education must be seen as a team effort. Parents are the primary
educators of a child's spiritual, physical, social, emotional,
and intellectual development. As a ministry we believe that we
provide support to the parents efforts. The best way you can participate
is: #1 Stay involved in your child's education by:
- Asking your child what he/she did in school.
- Communicating any special issues to the teachers.
- Keeping abreast of the curriculum.
- Reviewing lessons with your child.
- Promoting quiet time devoted to learning.
- Participating in workshops, meetings, and school activities.
- Most importantly, remember the school, teachers and staff
in family prayers!
