Pastor Anthony McPeters
Associate Pastor of Ministries

Pastor Anthony McPeters brings a variety of ministry skills to Eastern Star Church as it's new Associate Pastor of Ministries. Pastor McPeters joined the Eastern Star Church staff November 1, 2000, after serving a year as Associate Pastor for the Good News Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pastor McPeters grew up in the "Buckeye State" in Youngstown, Ohio where he became a Christian at the age of nineteen. He responded to God's calling to ministry as he studied and graduated with a Bachelor or Arts Degree in Biblical Education in 1989 from Cedarville College, located near Dayton, Ohio. In 1993, Pastor McPeters earned his Masters of Theology degree from the Dallas Theological Seminary. While in Cincinnati, Pastor McPeters also worked as Disciple Coordinator with the City Gospel Mission; an organization which provides assistance to men through its drug and alcohol program.

Currently, Pastor McPeters is heavily involved with Dynamic Church Planting International of San Diego, California. The organization provides assistance to churches for church plantings all over the country.

In his spare time, Pastor McPeters enjoys sports, reading and talking with people. He is excited about his role as Eastern Star's Associate Pastor of Ministries and looks forward to serving God, his people and the many rewards and challenges it brings.
